THURSDAY 25TH JUNE
The DAN BONG is one of the core Martial Arts weapons studied at Zen Dan Kwan School of Martial Arts. Students are examined on their skills with the Dan Bong as part of their Provisional Black Belt training.
We will be holding a seminar on this weapon on THURSDAY 25TH JUNE.
6:30PM Seminar for Dragons, Eagles and Adults
In the seminar students will learn some of the basic strikes and blocks with this weapon. In addition we will cover some Dan Bong against a punch sparring strategies, and some basic and some advanced spinning techniques.
The seminar will also cover spinning and more advanced self defence concepts with this weapon.
Over the course of the seminar, students will be exposed to the range and depth of this weapon. This makes it an ideal seminar for the novice Dan Bong students and the more experienced practitioner alike.
Attendance at the seminar is for members of Black Belt Club only. Students will need to have their own Dan Bong in order to participate in the seminar. If you do not already have your own weapon, these are avaliable from the Zen Dan Kwan Pro Shop in a range of colours. Your Instructors will be happy to help you select a suitable weapon.
